Rules

betterbid is a public leaderboard for products, websites, and any URL. No ads, no votes, no algorithm. Your position is the money you put in — nothing else. There is no login and no account.

How ranking works

Bids are whole US dollars, starting at $1.
Your rank is your lifetime total, not your last payment.
Equal totals: the listing that reached that total earlier stays higher.
Submit the same URL again to climb. You only pay the difference.
Anyone can outbid you at any time. A rank is not a timed slot you own.
Same price, same time is allowed. Checkout does not reserve a spot. If two people pay the same total, the earlier successful payment ranks higher — always. No refunds.
The on-page rank preview is an estimate and can change while you check out.

What you can list

A product, website, or any URL you own or run — a tool, landing page, or link.
An X profile as @handle or x.com/handle. Handles normalize to x.com.
Chat and invite links are not listed (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Signal, Messenger, etc.).
Sexual and adult content is not listed.
Query parameters are stripped (Play Store id is kept). Affiliate and tracking URLs will not work.
Links are keyed by full path — two pages on the same domain are separate listings.
Link shorteners are not allowed.

After you pay

A completed Creem.io payment claims the rank. Your listing appears within about a minute.
Clicks go through betterbid and then to your URL. The count is public.
Title, description, and favicon (or X avatar) are pulled when you bid.
There is no listing “owner” account. Anyone who pays for a URL adds to that URL’s lifetime total.

Payments and refunds

Creem.io is the merchant of record. Applicable tax is handled at checkout.
Bids are non-refundable. Being outbid or matched is not a refund reason.
Listings that break these rules may be removed without a refund.
